About A Personal Moment
What is A Personal Moment?
A Personal Moment is a short-form guided meditation and sound-therapy web app designed for the office day. Sessions run from five to fifteen minutes and cover everything from resetting between meetings to deeper practices like binaural beats and crystal bowl meditations.
Who is A Personal Moment for?
Individual professionals looking for a quick calm-down between meetings, and HR / people teams who want to offer a private, corporate-safe wellness benefit that respects employee privacy.
Who leads the meditations?
The voices of It's a Moment are chosen to create a sense of calm, presence, and connection. Rather than performing meditation, they serve as gentle guides through moments of pause and reflection. Each voice is authentic, warm, and grounded, with its own natural personality and cadence. Together, they represent the diversity of the people who listen — different ages, backgrounds, accents, and perspectives — while sharing the same intention: to create a safe, welcoming space where anyone can reconnect with themselves.
Do employees need meditation experience?
No. All the starter meditations work on the first try, even for someone who has never meditated before. Most core sessions run five to fifteen minutes, so they fit inside a workday, and the trial meditations - Reset, Unwind, Restore, and Focus - are a good place to start.
The meditation library
What kinds of meditations do you have?
The corporate library is made up of Guided Meditations, Crystal Bowl Meditations, Binaural / Productivity Meditations, and Instrumentals, and every seat in a team subscription has access to all of them. Reset, Unwind, Restore, and Focus are four specific trial meditations - one each - not categories. More spiritual content - Chakra, Psychic Growth, Spiritual Wellness - is not part of the corporate offering, but is available to your employees if they choose to upgrade their own membership, and those pages carry no corporate or sponsor branding.
What are binaural beats?
Binaural beats use precise stereo frequency pairs (alpha, beta, gamma) to nudge your brain into focus or relaxed states — great for deep work. They require headphones because they rely on stereo separation — each ear must receive a slightly different frequency. Speakers won't produce the effect. And don't use binaural sessions while driving or operating machinery.
What are crystal bowl meditations?
Guided Crystal Bowl Meditations pair a spoken guide with layered crystal singing bowls for a calming, immersive experience. The vibration and resonance of the bowls create a deeply relaxing sound environment.
How long are the meditations?
Many of our meditations are designed for use during the workday and are as short as five minutes. Most core sessions run between five and fifteen minutes. A few advanced Full Access sessions run longer, up to about twenty-five minutes, for employees who want a deeper practice, and the Binaural / Productivity tracks come in hour-long versions meant to play in the background through a work block.
How big is the meditation library?
The corporate library is a mix of Guided Meditations, Crystal Bowl Meditations, Binaural / Productivity Meditations, and Instrumentals, and we add a minimum of one new meditation every week. For the current session count, the live library is on itsamoment.com.
How often is new content added?
We add a minimum of one new meditation every week. Chakra, Psychic Growth, and Spiritual Wellness sit outside the corporate offering, and are available to your employees if they choose to upgrade their own membership - those pages carry no corporate or sponsor branding.
How much time do employees need to invest?
Most sessions run 5 to 15 minutes — short enough to fit between meetings, long enough to actually reset. A few deeper practices run up to 60 minutes for employees who want a longer wind-down. Research shows even 5 minutes a day makes a measurable difference over 30 days. Our Binaural / Productivity meditations are the exception. They're designed to run in the background while your team works — the sound frequencies are engineered to support focus, concentration, and creativity, and they come in 1-hour versions so employees can leave one playing through a work block and get the scientifically-supported benefits without pausing what they're doing.
Devices and access
What devices can I use it on?
A Personal Moment works in any modern browser on desktop or mobile — no app download needed. You can bookmark it or add it to your home screen for quick access.
How many devices can I use with one account?
One device at a time per account. If you sign in on a new device, we'll ask if you want to switch — signing in on the new device automatically signs you out on the old one.
Do employees need headphones or earbuds for this to work?
For guided sessions, no - they can play on phone speakers, but they should have a quiet place to engage in their meditation. For binaural sessions, yes, they need stereo headphones or earbuds, because the effect depends on each ear getting a slightly different frequency.
Can employees download sessions for offline access?
Not at this time. All sessions stream directly from the platform when your employees sign in, which lets us keep the library current and lets us protect the content from unauthorized sharing. For anywhere with basic Wi-Fi or cell signal, streaming works well — sessions are audio-only, so bandwidth requirements are light.
How do I sign up?
You can try four full meditations without registering. If you like it, the paywall opens after that — pick a plan, pay through Stripe, then create a password to unlock your account. Employees under a corporate plan use an invite link from their admin instead — they don't go through this individual signup.
Is there a free trial?
Four full meditations are free without any signup — our four Pillar Meditations: Reset, Unwind, Restore, and Focus. They're free permanently, not as a limited trial. Beyond those, you also get four complimentary plays of any meditation in the full library; a paid membership is required at the fifth play attempt, but the four Pillar Meditations always remain free. If you go with monthly or annual, there's an additional 7-day trial after signup.
Individual plans and billing
How much is an individual subscription?
Individual pricing is $9.99 per month (7-day free trial with a card), $59.95 per year, or $149.95 one-time for lifetime access. Monthly and annual plans include the free trial; lifetime is a one-time purchase.
How do I cancel my individual subscription?
Cancel any time from your Account page. Access stays active through the end of the current billing period.
Do you offer refunds?
If you subscribe by mistake or something goes wrong on our end, email within seven days and we'll make it right.
How do I delete my account?
Email us from the address on your account and we'll close it and remove your data.
Accessibility and language
Do you offer captions or transcripts for accessibility?
Yes. All meditation videos include subtitles, so employees who are deaf or hard of hearing can follow the guided sessions. Our instrumental content - Crystal Bowl, Binaural / Productivity, and Instrumentals - is also felt physically through the vibration and tempo of the sound, which many people find meaningful on its own.
Do you support multi-language content?
Although it's slated for development, at the moment we have no Spanish narrators. What we do have is a multitude of non-guided meditations that can be used by non-English speakers - Crystal Bowl meditations, Binaural / Productivity tracks, and pure Instrumentals have no spoken narration at all, so they work regardless of primary language.
